He said love means you can depend on me. So simple, so true. He is one of the inspirations for this blog as he reminded me of the power of words and taking time to truly understand what they mean. ESPN featured him in the E60 documentary, "Lettermen."
Commitment, confidence, love. Those words are important to me. Jesus was filled with them. Commitment to His mission to rescue us, confidence in His Heavenly Father, and love for God and His people. Commitment, confidence, love. "So be strong and courageous! Do not be afraid and do not panic before them. For the Lord your God will personally go ahead of you. He will neither fail you nor abandon you.” -Deuteronomy 31:6 Lord, please help us to be committed to you and those in our life - to not give up even when it feels like things aren’t going our way, to put in the work - to read your word and do our best in everything we do, to love so that others can depend on us and come to know You. Thank you for being the ultimate example for us. In your mighty name, Amen. Do you give up when things aren’t going your way? How can you be more committed to your calling or those in your life? This is one of nineteen words that I've written about and am sharing to raise money for a friend in need. If you have been encouraged by this and would like to read more, click here: My mission...
